Chicka Chicka Boom Boom: Alphabet Week at Wee Speech Therapy

During our second week of summer camp, we focused on the alphabet.  We used the book "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" for our story time.

We started each session reading the book in our reading room.  The kids love our bean bags so much! 

Next, we moved to the craft room where we had lots of letter fun!  First, we made Chicka Chicka Boom Boom noise makers.  The kids filled bottles with beads, jewels and glitter and decorated the outside with colorful letters.

We also made Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees with construction paper and stick on letters.

The little ladies of Wee Speech got to make bead bracelets with the letters of their name.

We also had an alphabet scavenger hunt. Gracie was the winner!

We ended each day with Bagel Bites and Scrabble Cheez-It's.  How cool are these?  The kids loved searching for their favorite cracker letters!

 We had so much fun learning the letters of the alphabet this week!
