Welcome to our blog!

About Us:


Wee Speech Therapy is new to the blogging world.  We have created this blog to keep our parents up to date with the happenings at our clinic.  Wee Speech Therapy provides competent, quality speech therapy services to qualifying children from birth to 18 years of age.  Our clinic is located in Hartsville, South Carolina.  Wee Speech screens and evaluates children for speech therapy services.  We provide services in language, articulation, phonology and fluency disorders.  We also provide services for children with autism and autism spectrum disorders.  Our therapist's are trained in treatment in Dysphagia/Swallowing difficulties.  We provide early intervention for speech and language development.

Our Staff:


Elizabeth W. Little, MCD CCC-SLP
Elizabeth is a native of Lake View, South Carolina.  Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Columbia College in Columbia, SC.  She completed her post graduate studies at the University of South Carolina, earning a Master of Communication Disorders degree.  Elizabeth currently holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).  Elizabeth began her speech therapy career as a school based therapist working for Dillon School District 1 (Lake View Schools) and Florence School District 1.  Elizabeth also has work experience with Carolinas Hospital Systems, Cooke's Associates Skilled Nursing Facilities, Heritage Healthcare Skilled Nursing Facilities, McLeod Home Health and Wilson Medical Center.

Nia I. Johnson, MCD CCC-SLP
Nia studied Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology at SC State University in Orangeburg, SC and Speech Language Pathology at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC graduating with a Master's in Communication Disorders in August 2004.  Nia is currently a Doctoral candidate at Nova Southeastern University in North Miami Beach, Florida.  Nia is a member of the American Speech Hearing and Language Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, incorporated.  She is also licensed by the state of South Carolina as a Speech Language Pathologist.  She has gained experience and knowledge by working in the public school setting, home health, rehab and skilled nursing facilities.  Nia lives in Darlington, SC where she is currently employed as the lead speech therapist for the Darlington County School District.

Jessica Griggs, BA SLPA
Jessica lives in Hartsville, SC.  Jessica earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC.  Jessica maintains South Carolina Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.  She has experience in the treatment of many speech and language disorders in children and adults.

Tracy Cooper, BA SLPA
Tracy is a licensed speech pathology assistant with over 10 years of experience with the pediatric population.  She graduated from SC State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology.  She currently lives in Salters, SC.




Summer Camp


Wee Speech Therapy offers individualized therapy sessions for our children.  This summer, we are offering a summer camp program for our children.  Each week has a different theme with story time, crafts, and snacks.  Our children are loving the themes so far.  We will be posting pictures from each week to show our parents and followers what we have worked on each week.
